Nokia Lumia 925 screen
Tools required for disassembly: Torx 4 screwdriver,
Torx 6 screwdriver,
Suction cup,
Mobile phone opening tool,
Hot air gun or hair dryer.
(If you are replacing a badly cracked touch screen digitizer (the glass), cover it in sticky tape before starting).
Start by turning your phone off and remove the sim tray by pushing your sim
removal tool into the hole circled below. If you don't have the sim removal
tool, use something like a paperclip.

The sim tray is now free.

Now turn the phone over and attach a suction cup near the top. Pull the suction
cup towards you and the back cover will release.

If the back cover doesn't come free or you don't have a suction cup, run a plastic tool along the join of the back cover to release it.

With the back cover removed, your phone should look like below.

If you wish to remove the wireless charging ribbon cable, first apply some heat
from a hot air gun or hair dryer so soften the adhesive tape holding it in
place, then carefully peel the ribbon away from the back cover.

The wireless charging ribbon cable is now free.

Now disconnect the cable from the battery. This cable has a
plug and socket type connection, so lever up, away from
the circuit board.

The ribbon cable from the battery has now been disconnected. Now remove the
three torx 6 size screws and lift free the metal cover which the screws hold in
place.

The metal cover is now free, as shown below. Now disconnect the two circled
ribbon cables. Again, each of these cables has a plug and socket type
connection, so lever up, away from the circuit board.

Four more ribbon cables, circled below, also need to be disconnected. Again,
each of these cables has a plug and socket type connection, so lever up, away
from the circuit board to disconnect. The coaxial cable circled in blue is
slightly different to the others but has a similar plug-socket type connection

All the ribbon cables are now disconnected.
Now remove the two circled screws.

The MIMO antenna, indicated by the arrow below, will be come loose once you've
removed the top right screw.

Now lever the circuit board free from the top right corner, as shown below. Lift
the circuit board free, making sure the ribbon cables don't get caught as you do
so.

The circuit board has now been removed. If you want to remove the WLAN/GPS
antenna, indicated by the arrow below, simply lift it away from the circuit
board.

The WLAN/GPS antenna is now free. .

To remove the rear camera, turn the circuit board over, lift the camera back and
disconnect the circled ribbon cable. Again, this cable has a plug and socket
type connection, so lever up, away from the circuit board.

The rear camera is now free.

To remove the screen, first apply heat from a hot air gun or hair dryer to the
front of the screen for around 60 seconds. This will soften the adhesive tape
which holds the screen in place. Next, push the back of the screen from the
point indicated by the arrow below, which will raise the screen enough for you
to slide your plastic tool under the edge of the screen.

Run your plastic tool all the way around the edge of the screen and it will come
free. Keep applying more heat if the screen is stuck firm.

The screen is now free. If you only want to replace the screen, you don't need
to follow the guide any further, simply fit your new screen and reassemble your
phone. To continue with disassembly, remove the metal cover indicated by the
arrow below.

The front facing camera, indicated by the arrow below, can be lifted free.

Next you should remove the secondary mic, jack socket and micro USB socket. See

Carefully pull the secondary mic, indicated by the arrow below, away from the
main body of the phone, then pull the jack socket towards you and the secondary
mic, jack socket and micro USB socket will come away together.

The secondary mic, jack socket and micro USB socket are now free, as shown
below. Now remove the two screws, circled below.

Now remove the ribbon cable for the camera, power and volume buttons by lifting
up the metal rod indicated by the arrow below.

The ribbon cable for the camera, power and volume buttons is now free. To remove
the antenna and loud speaker box, lever it from the point indicated below. A
little force may be required.

The antenna and loud speaker box is now free.

The antenna can be pryed away from the loud speaker box if required.

Now disconnect the coaxial cable, circled below in blue. Again this has a plug
and socket type connection, so carefully lever up, away from the circuit board
to disconnect.

You can now lift the coaxial cable away from the main body of the phone, as
shown below. The flex ribbon cable for the microphone and proximity sensor,
indicated by the arrow below, can be carefully peeled away from the main body.

The flex ribbon cable is now free.

If you wish to remove the vibrating motor, first push back the metal latch,
indicated by the arrow below.

The cover for the vibrating motor will now be loose. To remove the vibrating
motor, first use some heat from a hot air gun or hair dryer to soften the
adhesive tape holding it in place, then carefully lever it free from the point
indicated below.

The vibrating motor is now free. To remove the battery, lever from the points
indicated below and apply heat and the battery will eventually become loose.

The battery is now free. Disassembly is now complete. Reverse the whole
