Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Two screws
need to be removed, circled below.

Run something like a credit card around the join of the camera cover to release it from the rest of the phone.

With the camera cover removed your phone should look like below.
Next remove the two circled screws.

Run your plastic tool around the join of the front cover to release
it.

Your phone should now look like below. You should be able to lift
the screen and circuit board away from the back part of the phone with a
little manipulation.

Your phone should now look like below.

Turn the circuit board over, like below. A ribbon connector
(circled) needs to be disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket.
Just lever this up to unplug.

You can now lift the LCD frame away, like below.

Lift the screen to one side and you'll see another ribbon which needs
disconnecting. Again, this attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever
it up to unplug.

You now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support formymobile.co.uk and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
