Tools required for disassembly: Plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
Remove your back cover, battery and sim. Then, starting at the
bottom of the phone, as shown below, use something thin and flat like a
credit card to lever the front cover out. Some force is required.

With the front cover removed, your phone should look like below. To
remove the circuit board, pry the cover to one side and lift the circuit
board away from the circled lugs. If you want to remove the speaker and
vibrating motor, lever them up from the points indicated by the arrows
below.

Below you can see the speaker and vibrating motor, having been
removed.

With the circuit board removed from the front cover, your phone
should look like below. To remove the antenna, push the microphone up,
which is indicated by the arrow, then pry back the two circled clips.
The antenna will then come loose.

With the antenna removed, your phone should look like below. The
screen is held in place at the top by two clips, circled below. Pry
these away from the circuit board.

The screen will now be loose but still connected by the ribbon
cable, which is soldered to the circuit board. De-solder the ribbon and
replace the screen. Disassembly is now complete. Reverse the whole
procedure for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support formymobile.co.uk and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
