Tools required for disassembly: Torx 4 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
First remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card.

Pry the top cover off and then remove the four circled screws. Do
not remove the two screws that are not circled.

Now run something like the edge of a credit card around the join of
the back cover in order to release it.

With the back cover removed your phone should look like below.

Now release the clips on each side of the phone that hold the front
cover in place.

With the front cover removed your phone should look like below. The
keypad frame will also come loose.

From the point shown below, carefully lever the screen then slide
your plastic tool underneath to release the screen.

The LCD screen will still be connected by a ribbon connector. This
attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever it up to unplug.

You should now have the LCD screen removed. To remove the keypad membrane disconnect the circled connector. Again, this is a plug and socket type connector so just lever it up, like you did with the connector from the LCD screen. Then peel the part away from the phone (it's held in place with double sided tape). Disassembly is now complete. Reverse the whole procedure
for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support formymobile.co.uk and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
