Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Two screws
need to be removed, circled below.

Three clips hold the front cover in place. Two of these clips are
circled below and there's one on the other side of the phone.

Lever the cover off where the clips are situated using something
like a credit card.

You should now have the front cover removed. Now remove the four
screws you can see.

You can now lift the circuit board away from the chassis.

Turn the circuit board over. Circled below is a small metal cover.
Using a small amount of force, pull this cover off.

You now have access to a ribbon connector. This attaches like a plug
and socket. Simply lever the connector up, away from the circuit board,
to unplug.

Next you need to remove the metal LCD frame. It's held in place by two
clips (one on each side).

With the LCD frame removed the LCD screen will be loose. Reverse the
whole procedure for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support formymobile.co.uk and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
