Nokia 6300 LCD screen
Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver
First remove your sim card, memory card, battery cover & battery. Remove the two screws you see.

Run your fingernail around the join of the front cover and then
remove the front cover. Make sure you start lifting from the bottom so that the top end of the cover comes away last. When you re-attach the cover make sure it is attached at the top first so the retaining lugs hold the cover in place.

Your phone will now look like below. Now remove the four screws you
can see.

The top part of the phone (PCB and LCD screen) can now be removed
from the middle chassis.

A metal frame surrounds the LCD screen. It's held on with clips
around the edge of the PCB. Unclip and remove.

You can now remove the LCD screen. It's attached by a ribbon which
connects like a plug and socket. Simply lift it upwards and it'll
unplug. You can now replace the LCD. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support formymobile.co.uk and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
