Nokia 5130 Xpress Music LCD screen
Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Two screws,
circled in white,
need to be removed. The front bezel is held in place by four clips. Push
your screwdriver into the four gaps, circled in red, to release these
clips and release the front bezel.

With the front bezel removed your phone should look like below.

Now slide something like a credit card under the keypad in order to
release it.

Your phone should now look like below. Four more screws need to be
removed, circled below.

You should now be able to lift the main part of the phone away from
the housing, as shown below. The metal frame, which covers the LCD
screen, is held to the circuit board with clips around its edge. You can
pry the clips away with very little force and remove the metal frame.

Your phone should now look like below. A ribbon connector (circled)
needs to be disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever
this up, away from the circuit board, to unplug.

The LCD screen will now be loose and can be removed. Reverse the
whole procedure for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support formymobile.co.uk and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
