Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, Torx 6 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery and sim.

- Use something like the edge of a credit card to lever the bottom
cover off.

- Your phone should now look like below.

- Lift the phone up and you'll see a screw, circled below. Remove this
screw.

- Now use your credit card to lever off the top cover, as shown below.

- Your phone should now look like below.

- Turn your phone over. Pull the housing in the direction shown by the
arrows to release the clips holding it in place.

-
Lift the phone towards you and use your credit card to lift the housing
over the notches holding it in place (circled). You should now be able
to lift the housing away from the rest of the phone.

-
With the housing removed your phone should look like below. Remove the
six screws, circled in the photo below.

-
You can now lift the battery compartment away from the circuit board.
Lift it from left to right and note that it's still attached by a ribbon
cable, so don't try to remove it completely. Lever the charger connector
from the point circled in red, below.

- Your phone should now look like below.

-
Lift the circuit board up. It'll still be attached by three ribbons (see
the close up in the next photo).

-
Three ribbons need to be disconnected, circled below. The left and
middle ribbons attach like a plug and socket. Lever each one away from
the circuit board with the edge of your credit card. The connector on
the right is slightly different. Flick with pink/orange coloured latch
towards you. This releases the ribbon and you can then pull the circuit
board away from the rest of the phone.

-
With the circuit board removed your phone should look like below.

-
Circled below are the two clips that hold the keypad in place. Push
these down with your screwdriver and the keypad will release.

-
Now release the clip that holds the camera cover in place, circled below
in red.

-
Your phone should now look like below.

-
Turn the phone over and use your screwdriver to push away two of the
clips that hold the touch screen in place.

-
Now release the clips on both sides of the phone that also hold the
touch screen in place. You should now be able to lift the touch screen
away from the phone.

-
With the touch screen removed your phone should look like below. The
touch screen is still held in a frame. To release the touch screen from
the frame use something like a hair dryer to heat it around the edge to
loosen the adhesive holding it in place.

-
To release the LCD screen slide your credit card underneath.

-
You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse
the whole procedure for reassembly.
