Tools required: Torx 5 screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, plastic
tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Remove the two
screws you can see.

- Peel back the sticker shown
in the picture below. You may need
something with a thin, sharp point to peel the sticker back with. Remove
the two screws you can now see.

- Run your plastic tool along the join of the battery compartment to
separate the phone into two halves.

- Your phone should now look like below. Next you need to disconnect
the two ribbons (circled).

- Below is a close up of the two ribbon connectors mentioned above.
You'll need to disconnect these. Note that the one on the left has a
blue dot on it. This is there so you know which ribbon goes to which
slot. If there is not a dot on your ribbon, make one. Notice that I have
disconnected the ribbon on the right so you can see how it fits. It
attaches like a plug and socket and slides in and out of its slot.

- Your phone should now be separated into two parts, like below.

- Turn the top half of the phone over and remove the four screws you
can see. You'll now be able to remove the keypad part of the phone.

-
Your phone should now look like below.

-
Remove the sticker at the top of the phone and the two screws
underneath. Remove the other four screws you can see.

-
Slide the ribbons through the metal swivel part.

- Run your plastic tool along the join of the front cover to release
it.

-
Your phone should now look like below. Remove the two screws you can
see.

-
You should now have the front cover removed completely. Release a number
of clips round the outer edge of the phone (circled) to release the back
of the phone.

-
Separate the phone into two parts. The keypad will also be loose.

-
Your phone should now look like below.

-
Turn the phone over and disconnect the circled ribbon. To do so flick
the metal latch (indicated by the arrow) over then pull the ribbon out
of its slot.

-
You can now lever the LCD out. It should come away easily. The ribbon
you just disconnected will slide through the gap in the metal frame. You
can now replace the LCD. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
