Tools required: Torx 5 screwdriver, Phillips size 0 screwdriver
- First remove the battery cover, battery, memory card etc. Remove the
two screws you see.
- Remove the flip. It should pop off very easily.
- Your phone will now look like below.
- Remove the Sony Ericsson logo at the top of the phone. It's a
sticker and will peel off easily. Remove the two screws you now have
access to.
- Run your fingernail all the way around the join of the back of the
housing.
- With the back part of the phone removed you'll have access to two
more screws. Remove these screws and you'll then be able to remove the
front cover.
- Your phone should now look like below.

Lift the keypad part away from the phone. This part will still be
attached by a ribbon (indicated by the arrow below). The ribbon attaches
like a plug and socket. Simply lift it up to unplug it.

You should now have the keypad part removed. You now have access to a
ribbon which connects the LCD to the circuit board. Unplug this ribbon
like the last one. The LCD screen will still be held in place by clips
around its edge. Carefully lever out the LCD.

You have now removed the LCD screen. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly
