Tools required: Phillips size 00 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card.

- Remove the sticker at the bottom of the phone. Just slide something
thin underneath it. Next remove the six screws you can see, circled
below.

- Run something like a credit card all the way around the join of the
battery compartment to release it.

- Your phone should now look like below. A ribbon connector needs to be
detached (circled). This attaches like a plug and socket. Just
lever it up to unplug.

- Now pull the slide open about halfway and lift the green circuit
board from right to left. Another ribbon with a plug and socket type
connector will be attached to the other side. Detach this like the last
one then lift the circuit board away from the phone. The camera button
on the left is attached to the circuit board and will be stuck down
lightly. It will come loose with some careful force.

- Your phone should now look like below. Note that the camera button
(circled below) has come away with the circuit board.

- Remove the identification sticker and the four circled screws. You
can now lift the slide part away from the phone.

-
Your phone should now look like below. Remove the two circled screws
then pull the front cover away at each side, in the direction shown by
the arrows. This will release the front cover.

-
Your phone should now look like below. The circled ribbon connectors
need to be disconnected (the one on the right is obscured by the
ribbon). Just flick the brown latch up on each connector and pull each
ribbon in the direction shown by the arrows. The long orange ribbon on
the left is stuck down lightly with double sided tape. Carefully peel
this away from the back of the LCD screen.

-
Your phone should now look like below. If you turn the front cover over
the LCD screen should simply drop out.

- You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole
procedure for reassembly.
