Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver.
- First remove the battery cover, battery, memory card and stylus.
Remove the four screws you see.

- Run your fingernail around the join of the back cover and then pry
the back cover off.

- Your phone will now look like below. Now remove the four screws you
can see (two at the top of the phone and two at the bottom).

- The front part of the phone can now be removed from the middle
chassis. Carefully pull the two parts apart.

- With the two parts separated your phone will
look like the picture below.

- You can now remove the front cover. It will be held to the screen
with double sided tape so the front cover needs to be carefully peeled
away.

- The front cover has now been removed and you have access to the LCD
screen.

-
The screen is held in place by metal clips. Pry the screen away from the
rest of the phone, lifting it from right to left, as shown below.

-
The LCD screen will now only be attached by the ribbon. There is a black
hinge where the ribbon attaches. Flip this up (from right to left) and
then simply pull the ribbon out. Pay attention to how the ribbon
attaches.

- You have now removed the LCD screen. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support us and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
