Tools required for disassembly: Torx 5 screwdriver.
- First remove the battery cover and battery. Pull the two circled
clips out and you'll then be able to remove the front cover.
- Remove the six screws you can see and separate the phone into
another two layers.
- Your phone will now look like below. The ribbon connector (circled)
needs to be disconnected. This attaches like a plug and socket. Simply
lever it up, away from the phone, to unplug it. The metal LCD frame will
now be loose.
- Your phone should now look like below. Four clips hold the LCD
screen in the frame (circled). Bend these back a little to release the
LCD screen.
- You have now removed the LCD screen. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly.
