Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Remove the
four circled screws.
- Run something like a credit card around the join of the camera cover to release it from the rest of the phone.
- Your phone should now look like
below. Now remove the two screws you can see at the top of the phone. A
ribbon connector needs to be detached (circled). This attaches like a
plug and socket. Just lever it up to unplug. Now lift the circuit board
up from the point shown by the arrow and it will release. Note that a
connector on the opposite side of the circuit board will disconnect when
you do this so remember to push it back in place when you put the phone
back together.
- Your phone should now look like below. Two more ribbon connectors
needs to be detached (circled). Again, each one attaches like a plug and socket. Just
lever them up to unplug.
- Remove the piece of blue/clear tape and you'll see another ribbon
connector (circled). This has a different socket to the previous
ribbons. Just flick the brown latch up, where the ribbon enters, and the
ribbon is released. That's all you need to do for now.
- Now lever the antenna out with your credit card. Very little force
is required.
- Below you see the antenna removed. A metal bar underneath it will
also be loose and needs to be removed. Circled is another plug and
socket type connector. Lever the plug out of its socket.

Now slide your credit card under the circuit board. Near the top, the
circuit board will be held in place lightly by some double sided tape.

With the circuit board removed your phone should look like below.
Circled is the part where the circuit board was held with double sided
tape, mentioned in the previous stage of the guide.

Lever the camera module from the phone. It's stuck in place lightly with
double sided tape.
- Run something like the edge of a credit card along the left side of
the front cover to release it and then lift the cover from left to
right.

The front cover can now be removed, as shown below.

Now slide your credit card under the bottom half of the LCD screen. A
small piece of double sided tape holds the screen in place which will
release when you slide your card under it.

You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure
for reassembly.
