If you require a new screen, phone cover and tools, they can be purchased
here:
http://www.formymobile.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=ke800lcd
Tools required: Phillips size 0 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your battery, sim and memory card. Six screws
need to be removed. Two at the top of the phone are covered by plastic
stickers which will peel off.

- Run something like a credit card around the join of the battery
compartment to release it from the rest of the phone.

- With the battery compartment removed your phone should look like
below. Two ribbon connectors (circled) need to be disconnected. Each
one attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever them up to unplug.
You'll then be able to lift the two green circuit boards away from the
rest of the phone.

- Your phone should now look like below. Remove the six screws you can
see and then you can remove the next layer of the phone, as shown in the
next photo.

- Your phone should now look like below. Remove the two circled screws.

- Run your plastic tool along the join of the front cover in order to
release it.

- Your phone should now look like below. Two ribbon connectors (circled) need to be disconnected.
Again, each
one attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever them up to unplug.

-
Lever the camera out with
your plastic tool. It is stuck down lightly with double sided tape and should come away easily.

-
Lift the screen away from the front cover. It should be loose. Next peel
away the big black piece of sticky tape (indicated by the red arrow
below). Now slide your plastic tool under the LCD screen to separate it
from the green circuit board. It will be stuck down with double sided
tape. Once the double sided tape has been released, pull the screen in
the direction of the blue arrow.

-
You should now have the small LCD screen removed. Note that the parts
circled below are the socket and ribbon. The ribbon from the LCD slides
into the socket. Reverse the whole
procedure for reassembly.
