Tools required: Phillips screwdriver
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Now remove the
six screws you can see.

- Run your fingernail, or
something like a guitar plectrum, all the way around the join of the
battery compartment to unclip it.

- Your phone should now look like below. The ringer, circled near the
top of the phone, is lightly stuck down. Carefully lift this up. Note
that it is still attached by a couple of wires and be careful not to
break them. There is also a connector circled next to the camera. This
attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift the connector up to unplug
it.

- Pull the green circuit board towards you, as shown in the picture
below. You now need to detach another connector, circled. Again, it
attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift it away from the circuit
board to unplug it.

- Your phone should now look like below. Note that the circled
connector will have disconnected from the green circuit board. Make sure
this is reconnected when you put the phone back together. Now lift the
camera away from the phone. It is stuck down lightly. Remove the six
screws you can see.

- Your phone should now look like below. The slide part of the phone
should now be loose and can be removed.

- Your phone should now look like below. Remove the two stickers at
the top of the phone to reveal two more screws. Remove all six screws
you can now see.

- The metal part which you have just unscrewed should now be loose.
Move it to one side and you'll notice the a ribbon stuck to the back of
the metal plate. This is stuck down lightly and will simply peel away.

-
Your phone should now look like below.

-
Turn the phone over and you have access to the LCD screen. Remove the
green tape. Another ribbon needs disconnecting. Flick the black hinge
over to release the ribbon.

-
You should now be able to lift the LCD screen from the phone.

- You should now have the screen removed. Peel the ribbon from the
back of the screen. You'll need to attach this to the new LCD screen.
Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
