Sony Ericsson J132 disassembly, screen replacement and repair

Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.

Remove your back cover, battery and sim. Six screws need to be removed, circled below in red. Sony Ericsson J132 disassembly stage 5 The LCD screen is held in place by clips on both sides of the phone. Unclip them. Sony Ericsson J132 disassembly stage 6 Now lift the over and you have access to the points where the ribbon from the screen is soldered to the circuit board. To remove the screen you need to desolder the old screen and then solder the new screen in place. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
