Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Then remove the four screws you can see, circled below. HTC Touch disassembly stage 1 Next, slide something thin and flat, like the edge of a credit card, along the join of the front cover, as shown below. HTC Touch disassembly stage 2 The front cover will still be attached by a ribbon cable, as shown below. A ribbon connector, circled below, needs to be disconnected. This attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever it up to unplug. HTC Touch disassembly stage 3 The front cover is now free. The ribbon circled below comes from the touch screen. This ribbon connects in a different way to the last one and is called a zif connector. The black part is a latch that opens and closes on a hinge. Carefully lift it up and the ribbon will be free. If you wish to remove the keypad circuit board, remove the two screws you have access to, indicated by the arrows. HTC Touch disassembly stage 4 You can now lever the keypad circuit board out from the point shown. HTC Touch disassembly stage 5 You should now have the keypad circuit board removed. HTC Touch disassembly stage 6 Next, remove the two screws, circled below. Then remove the circuit board by pulling the housing in the direction shown by the arrows and then carefully prying it out.  HTC Touch disassembly stage 7 Below you can see the circuit board has been removed. The vibrating motor will come away with it. The antenna may also come loose, as shown below. HTC Touch disassembly stage 8 TNow turn the circuit board over and remove the orange tape which covers the circled socket. Again, this is a zif connector. The brown part is a latch that opens and closes on a hinge. Carefully flip it up and the ribbon will be free. You can then simply lift the LCD screen free. HTC Touch disassembly stage 9 You should now have the LCD screen removed, as shown below. Disassembly is now complete.
