If you require a new screen, phone cover and screwdrivers, they can be purchased
here:

Tools required: Phillips size 0 screwdriver
- Before starting, note that the HTC Touch Diamond has quite a lot of
screws holding it together which vary in length, so it would be a good
idea to make a diagram or write down which screws go where. First remove the battery cover, battery, sim,
and stylus. Remove any screws which are accessible. You will probably be
able to see other screws but not access them at this point.

- Remove the charger port/sim slot cover and any more screws you
subsequently have access to. Two ribbon cables need disconnecting
(circled). One has a piece of white tape covering it which needs to be
removed. Then flick the latch up to release the ribbon. The other cable
is a thin wire with a small round connector on the end. This attaches
like a plug and socket and can be gently lever up with the edge of your
fingernail. Now lift the circuit board away from the rest of the phone.

- With the circuit board removed you'll notice that two ribbons
(circled), which were attached to the other side of the circuit board,
will have disconnected. They simply push in like a plug and socket. Have
a look at the other side of the circuit board to familiarise yourself
with how they reattach. Remove any screws you now have access to.

- Lever off the camera surround using a plastic tool such as the edge
of a credit card. Remove the thin metal plate with the barcode on.
Remove any screws you now have access to.

- Your phone should now look like below. Note that the two plastic
parts shown below hold two wires in place on either side of the phone.
Remove any more screws you now have access to.

- Lever the metal plate away, as shown below. Note that this part is
still connected by a cable. Remove the silver tape which covers the back
of the LCD screen and a number of cables. Disconnect the circled
connector (lever it off with a fingernail)

- You can now push the keypad out and your phone should look like
below. The LCD is held in place with a tacky glue and needs to be
levered out. Access it from the back, as per the above picture. Slide
something like a credit card in between the front cover and the LCD to
remove it. I didn't remove the LCD screen for this guide as this was a
fully working phone and the LCD would have been damaged doing so.
Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
