Tools required for disassembly: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Four screws
need to be removed, circled below.

- Run something like a credit card around the join of the battery
compartment to release the clips holding it in place. Then pry the
battery compartment away from the rest of the phone.

- With the battery compartment removed your phone should look like
below. The volume and camera buttons will also come away. A ribbon connector (circled
in red)
needs to be disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever
this up, away from the circuit board, to unplug. Next, lever the ringer
and speaker (circled in white) away from the housing. Lastly, the
switches for the volume and camera buttons are held to the side of the
phone with double sided tape. Carefully peel them away from the side of
the phone but make sure they're still connected to the circuit board by
their wires. You can now lift the circuit board away from the main body
of the phone.

- With the circuit board removed your phone should look like below.

- No bend the housing slightly to raise one corner of the LCD screen.

- You can now slide your plastic tool under the outer edge of the LCD
to release it from the front cover.

- You now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly.
