Tools required for disassembly: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Six screws
need to be removed, circled below. The two in the middle are shorter
than the screws and the top and bottom. Remember this when you put the
phone back together.

- Lift the battery compartment from the points shown below, then
carefully pry it away from the phone.

- With the battery compartment removed your phone should look like
below. A ribbon connector (circled) needs to be disconnected. It
attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever this up to unplug.

- Now lift the circuit board up and you'll see another ribbon connector
that needs to be
detached (circled). Again, this attaches like a plug and socket. Just
lever it away from the circuit board to unplug.

- Once you have disconnected the ribbon in the previous stage,
you can
lift the circuit board away from the phone, as shown below. Next remove
the screw, circled top right. You can now lift the large metal part away
from the phone. Start by levering it from the point circled in blue.

- Lift the metal part over and your phone should look like below. Note that the
part is still connected to the main body of the phone by the speaker
(circled). Carefully lever the speaker out with your screwdriver. The
speaker is held in place with double sided tape and should come out
quite easily. Be careful not to damage the wires connected to the
speaker.

- Your phone should now look like below. To remove the LCD screen
lever it out of the front cover from the points shown.

-
You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure
for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support us and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
