Tools required for disassembly: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a
guitar plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Remove the
six screws circled (two at the bottom are covered by rubber stoppers
which are easily removed). You can now remove the battery compartment.

- Below you can see the battery cover removed. You now need to
disconnect the circled ribbon connector. It attaches like a plug and
socket. Simply lift the connector up to unplug it.

- Below you can see the unplugged connector and the camera and volume
buttons, which have been removed.

- Lift the circuit board up to reveal another connector, indicated by
the arrow. It attaches like the last one. Unplug this.

- You can now remove the circuit board. Note that the ribbon running
along the right of the circuit board, with the volume buttons at the
end, is lightly stuck down with a tacky glue or double sided tape.

- Remove the grey part shown below. Note that the ribbon with the
camera button at the end is stuck down lightly. Next remove the four
circled screws.

- Part of the slider can now be removed, as shown below. Next remove
the two rubber stoppers at the top of the phone to reveal two more
screws. Remove the four circled screws.

-
Remove the ribbon which is stuck to the black rectangle, indicated
below. It'll just peel back.

-
Run your plastic tool all the way around the join of the front cover to
unclip it.

-
Your phone should now look like below.

- Lift the screen away from the phone at the point indicated by the
screwdriver and on the opposite side. The screen is stuck down lightly
with double sided tape.

-
You should now have the LCD removed.

-
Turn the LCD screen over and remove all the green tape you see. You now
need to detach a number or ribbons. The ribbon circled attaches like a
plug and socket. All the other ribbons have a hinge which you need to
flick up to release.

-
Your LCD should now look like below. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support us and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
