Tools required for disassembly: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Six screws
need to be removed, circled below.

- Run something like a credit card around the join of the battery
compartment to release it from the rest of the phone.

- With the battery compartment removed your phone should look like
below. The volume and camera buttons will also come away. Four ribbon connectors (circled)
need to be disconnected. Those circled in red have a plug and socket
type connection. Just lever each one up to unplug. The ribbon circled in blue has a zif connector. Lift the black latch up and the ribbon will
be loose and can slide out of its socket. The two arrows indicate the
micro switches for the volume and camera buttons. These are held to the
housing with double sided tape. Carefully peel them away
from the side of the phone. They will still be attached to the circuit
board at the other end so be careful not to damage this connection.

- Below you can see a close up of the cables which were disconnected
in the previous stage. Next remove the two circled screws.

- Now lift the circuit board from right to left, as shown below. It'll
still be attached by a ribbon. This ribbon has a plug and socket type
connector and can be levered away from the circuit board.

- Your phone should now look like below. Remove the three circled
screws.

- Now lift the antenna from left the right. The wire from the antenna
will still be connected. This has a plug and socket type connector and
can be levered away from the antenna.

-
With the antenna removed your phone should now like look below. Now pry
the front cover away from the rest of the phone. It should come away
without much force.

-
With the front cover removed your phone should look like below.

-
Slide something like a credit card under the LCD screen to release it.
There is a ribbon stuck to the reverse of the screen so be careful not
to damage this.

- With the LCD screen removed your phone should now look like below.

-
Turn the screen over and you'll see another ribbon. Again the connector
has a plug and socket type connector. Lever this up to unplug then peel
the ribbon away from the back of the screen. It's held in place with
double sided tape. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support us and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
