Tools required: Torx 5 screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Five screws
need to be removed. Once you have removed the five screws you can also
remove the plastic antenna cover. Pry it away from the point indicated
by the arrow below.

- With the antenna cover removed your phone should look like below.

- Run something like a credit card around the join of the battery
compartment to release it from the rest of the phone.

- With the battery compartment removed, your phone should look like below.
Two screws, circled in red, need to be removed. Three ribbon connectors
(circled in bue) need to be disconnected. Each one attaches like a plug
and socket. Just lever each one up to unplug. Next, detach the GPS
antenna, circled in white. Again, this attaches like a plug and socket. Just
lever it up to unplug. Next, lever the volume switch, indicated by the
arrow, away from the side of the phone (it will still be attached to the
circuit board so don't damage this connection).

- You can now lift the circuit board away from the rest of the phone,
as shown below. The volume button and power button may also come loose
when you remove the circuit board. These just slot back into their
recesses. Now carefully peel back the gold foil, indicated below by the
arrow on the left. Next, completely remove the piece of sticky tape,
indicated below by the arrow on the right.

- Your phone should now look like below. Now lever out the part
indicated by the arrow.

- Your phone should now look like below.

-
Now carefully run your plastic tool all the way around the very edge of
the screen and lever it out.

-
You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure
for reassembly.
