If you require a new screen, phone cover and screwdrivers, they can be purchased
here:
http://www.formymobile.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=d900ilcd
Tools required: Phillips size 0 screwdriver
- First remove the battery cover and battery.
Remove the two rubber stoppers at the bottom of the phone (circled) and
you now have access to six screws in total. Remove these screws.

- You can now remove back part of the phone. It should come away from
the phone with little force.

- You should now have the back part removed, like below.

- Now remove the two side buttons and make sure the port covers on the
side of the phone are open. A ribbon connector (circled) also needs to
be released. It attaches like a plug and socket so simply lift it away
from the phone to unplug it (it is shown already unplugged in the photo
below).

- Lift the green circuit board from to bottom to reveal
another ribbon (pointed to in the photo below). Again, this attaches like a plug and socket. Simply
pull the connector away from the circuit board to unplug it

- Once you've disconnected the ribbon in the stage above you can
remove the circuit board and your phone should now look like the picture below.

- Now open the slide. Remove the two rubber stoppers at the top of the
phone and you'll have access to two more screws. Remove these and the
two screws you can access in the battery compartment (all circled).

-
You can now remove the front cover. It will still be attached by a
ribbon, so be careful.

-
Flip the front cover over so you can access the next ribbon.

-
To detach this ribbon, first remove the green tape, then flip back the brown hinge, which is indicated
below. The ribbon then simply slides out. Take note of how this ribbon
is attached as it will help you when you put the phone back together.

-
The image below shows the ribbon now detached.

-
Your phone should now be in two parts, as shown below.

-
The next ribbon, indicated by the arrow, is covered by some green tape.
Remove this. This ribbon attaches like the previous one, so flip the
hinge and slide the ribbon out.

-
The image below shows the ribbon once it has been detached.

-
Lift the LCD away from the front cover, starting at the bottom. The LCD
is held in place quite firmly with double sided tape so you need to peel
it away slowly but with force.

-
You should now have removed the old LCD screen. Replace with new and
reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
