If you require a new screen, phone cover and screwdrivers, they can be purchased
here:
http://www.formymobile.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=bb8900lcd
Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver, mobile phone opening tool,
plastic tool such as an old credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Four screws
need to be removed. The top left one is covered by a warranty sticker.
Just push through it with your screwdriver.

- The BlackBerry logo bezel will now be loose and can be removed, as
shown below.

- From the point indicated below, push your opening tool in the
direction shown by the arrow. Do this on both sides.

- You should now have revealed two more screws. Remove these screws
and the battery compartment will be loose and can be removed.

- With the battery compartment removed your phone should look like
below. A few clips, such as those circled, hold the front cover in
place. Release these clips and remove the front cover.

- With the front cover removed your phone should look like below. A
ribbon connector needs to be detached. It attaches like a plug and
socket. Just lever it up to unplug.

- Carefully lift the circuit board up and you'll see some more ribbon
connectors. The one circled on the left needs to be detached, just like
in the last stage.

-
Now turn your phone over and slide something like a credit card all the
way under the screen. The screen is held in place lightly by double
sided tape which will release when you slide your credit card under it.

-
You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure
for reassembly.
