Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Two screws
need to be removed, circled below.

- Next pry the bezel at the bottom of the phone off (pull down from
the top edge) to reveal two more screws. Remove these screws. Then pry
the front cover away from the point shown by the arrow.

- With the front cover removed your phone should look like below. The
keyboard will now be loose and can be removed.

- Now carefully lift the lens from the point shown. Do the same from
the other side. The lens is held in place with double sided tape which
will release with a little more ease if you first heat the area with a
hair dryer.

- You should now have the lens released, as shown below.

- Now remove the two screws you can see, circled below.

- You can now lift the main body of the phone away from the housing,
as shown below.

-
A ribbon connector (circled) needs to be disconnected. It attaches like
a plug and socket. Just lever this up to unplug.

-
You can now lift the screen and assembly away from the circuit board, as
shown below.

-
If you need to remove the LCD screen from its frame, use a hair dryer to
heat the frame and loosen the adhesive holding the screen in place. You
should also slide something with a thin flat edge, like a credit card,
around the edge of the LCD screen and the screen will release. You
should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support us and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
