Tools required for disassembly: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Six screws
need to be removed, circled below.

- Run something like a credit card around the join of the battery
compartment to release it from the rest of the phone.

- With the battery compartment removed your phone should look like
below. Two ribbon connectors, circled below in white,
need to be disconnected. Each attaches like a plug and socket. Just
lever each one up to unplug. Next, remove the screw you can see, circled
in red.

- You can now remove the yellow sim reader assembly, as shown below.
Two clips, circled below, hold the circuit board in place. Pry the front
cover where the clips are in order to release the circuit board.

- With the circuit board and front cover separated your phone should
look like below.

- Turn the circuit board over and you'll see the speaker, circled
below in red. This is held in place with some double sided tape. Use
your screwdriver to lever it away from the circuit board. Be careful not
to damage the wires connecting the speaker to the circuit board.

- Turn the circuit board over again. You can see the speaker sticking
out at the top of the phone, still connected to the circuit board by two
wires. A ribbon connector, circled below in red,
needs to be disconnected. Again, it attaches like a plug and socket.
Just lever it up to unplug.

-
You should now be able to lift the circuit board away, as shown below.
To release the LCD screen, push your screwdriver into the gap circled
below. This will raise one corner of the LCD screen allowing you to
slide something thin and flat like a credit card under the screen and
release the double sided tape holding it in place.

-
You should now have the LCD screen removed, as shown below. Reverse the
whole procedure for reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support us and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
