Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver

• Remove the loud speaker cover. It attaches via two clips at the top of the phone. You'll need to wiggle the cover around to unclip these

• You'll now have access to four torx 6 screws. Remove these

• Run your fingernail along the edge of the housing to separate the back from from the rest of the phone

• Your phone will now be in two parts, as shown below

• Remove the plug end of the ribbon cable. Just lift this and it'll unclip

• Remove the circuit board

• Now unclip the fascia on the front of the phone. Run your fingernail along the edge to release

• You'll now have access to four more torx 6 screws. Remove these
   

• Run your fingernail along the edge of the housing to separate the two parts. This part if held on by two clips near the hinge. Do not pull the housing towards you from the top. Instead try to unclip the housing from the bottom in the direction of the arrow below to stop the clips breaking

• You now have access to the LCD screen. Remove the plug end of the ribbon cable, indicated by the arrow below

• Replace the old LCD with the new one. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly
