Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver.
- Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card.
- Next you need to remove the front cover. It's held on with clips
around the side of the phone. Pull the clips back and the cover will
release.
- With the front cover removed your phone should look like
below. Now remove the six screws you can see.
- Now lift the main body of the phone away from the chassis.
- Turn the phone over, like below. A ribbon connector (circled) needs
to be disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever this
up to unplug. You can then lift the metal LCD frame away.
- Your phone should now look like below. Another ribbon connector (circled)
needs to be disconnected. Again it attaches like a plug and socket. Just
lever this up to unplug. You can now lift the LCD screen away.
- You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole
procedure for reassembly.
