Tools required: Plastic tool such as a credit card or guitar plectrum
- Run you plastic tool all the way around the join of the cover on the
front of the phone to release it.
- You should now have the cover removed. Next you need to disconnect
two ribbon connectors (circled). These attach like a plug and socket.
Simply lift each connector up, away from the circuit board, to unplug
it.
- Another ribbon connector needs to be disconnected. Again, this is a
plug/socket type connection. The green circuit board will now be loose.
- Your phone should now look like below. Lever the LCD out at the four
points circled below.
- You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole
procedure for reassembly.
