If you require a new screen, phone cover and screwdrivers, they can be purchased
here:
http://www.formymobile.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=5200lcd
Tools required: Torx 6 screwdriver
- Run your fingernail around the edge of the front cover to release
the clips which hold the cover in place.

- You can now remove the front cover and your phone will look like
below. Remove the four screws you can see.

- Once you've removed the four screws you can lift away the metal
frame which sits on top of the LCD. It will be held in place with clips.
Unclip simply by levering the edge of the frame away with your
fingernail. Two little pieces of plastic will probably fall out of the
frame (shown in the image below). These hold the LCD screen in place and
will go back in the frame later.

- The LCD screen is attached to the circuit board by a ribbon,
indicated below, which attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift this
up to unplug the screen.

- You can now remove the LCD screen.

- Now place the new LCD screen into the frame. Two plastic parts will
hold the screen in the frame. The image below shows the plastic part the
correct way round. It won't fit in properly any other way.

- Below shows the black part slotted in the frame and the white part
held the correct way round to go back in the frame properly. Now simply
flip the frame over, with the LCD held firmly in place, and reattach to
the phone. The best way to do this is to lightly screw the frame back in
place then push down on the top of the metal frame where the ribbon
attaches and the ribbon will plug back in to its socket. Now simply
tighten the screws, push the front cover back on and the job is
complete.
