Tools required for disassembly: Torx 6 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Two screws
need to be removed, circled below.

Run something like a credit card around the join of the front cover to release it from the rest of the phone.

With the front cover removed your phone should look like
below. Now remove the four circled screws.

Your can now lift the circuit board away from the body of the phone,
as shown below. Two clips, circled below, hold the LCD frame to the
circuit board. Release these clips and lift the metal frame away.

With the LCD frame removed your phone should look like below. A
ribbon connector (circled) needs to be disconnected. It attaches like a
plug and socket. Just lever this up to unplug.

The LCD screen will now be free and can be lifted away from the
circuit board, as shown below. Reverse the whole procedure for
reassembly. If you've found this disassembly guide useful, please support formymobile.co.uk and order the tools and parts you need from our site. We ship worldwide!
