Tools required for disassembly: Torx 4 screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar
plectrum or credit card.
- Remove your back cover, battery and sim. Two screws
need to be removed, circled below.

- Run something like a credit card along the right side of the join of the
front cover to release it from the rest of the phone.

- With the front cover removed your phone should look like
below. Next remove the five screws, circled below. The screw circled top left is different from the other four, so make sure it goes back in the right place.

- You should now be able to lift the main part of the phone away from
the housing. You now need to release the metal frame. It's held to the
circuit board with a number of clips around the edge that you need to
pry away to release the frame.

- With the metal frame removed your phone should look like below. Turn
the circuit board over. A ribbon connector (circled) needs to be
disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever this up to
unplug.

- The LCD screen will now be loose and can be removed, as shown below.
